Antibacterial

Leucidal® SF Complete owes its antibacterial effect to the Lactobacillus bacterium, a bacterium that limits the growth of other microorganisms, including those of E. Coli and C. albicans.

Antifungal

The antifungal effect of Leucidal® SF Complete is created by fermenting coconut with the Lactobacillus bacteria. Coconut oil Used in many traditional medicine methods to treat all kinds of ailments, coconut oil supports the self-healing ability of the skin and increases resistance to unfavorable bacteria and fungi in the intestines. Coconut oil consists largely of MCT’s 'medium chain triglycerides' that naturally have an antifungal effect.

Moisturizing

Unique to Leucidal® SF Complete is that in addition to an antimicrobial effect, it also has moisturizing and moisturizing qualities. The product is therefore perfect to use in products for skin and hair! Also for sensitive skin, because Leucidal® SF Complete does not irritate. Always test your homemade product with Leucidal® SF Complete on a small piece of skin first, of course.

How do you use it?

You add Leucidal® SF Complete to your homemade care product during the cooling phase (below 70 degrees Celsius). Note that your final product must have a pH level between 3 or 8 for Leucidal® SF Complete to remain intact.

If necessary, use some citric acid diluted in water to lower the pH level or some baking soda diluted with water to raise it. Test the pH level of your creation with a pH-strip.

Leucidal® SF Complete dissolves in water and blends with xanthaangom (quantity not higher than 1%).

Store in a dark place at room temperature between 10°-25°C. Once opened, Leucidal® SF Complete will last for 12 months.

What is so special about Leucidal® SF Complete?

Unlike other natural preservatives, Leucidal® SF Complete can be combined with a small amount of xanthan gum. The liquid also maintains the stability of your product and has a stronger antifungal effect than most Preservatives.

Lots of natural Preservatives do not work well at a pH level higher than 5, while Leucidal® SF Complete remains effective up to a pH level of 8. Above all, Leucidal® SF Complete is virtually odorless, unlike the strong medicinal smell that some other natural Preservatives .
