Neopreen: TechnoButter 3 en TB3X

TechnoButter 3 is een van O'Neills meest geavanceerde neopreensoorten: tot 20% lichter en met zo'n 30% minder waterabsorptie dan standaard neopreen. Voor windsurfers en wingfoilers die veel bewegen scheelt dat merkbaar in flexibiliteit en gewicht. Met 4mm rond de romp en 3mm bij armen en benen blijf je warm zonder in te leveren op beweeglijkheid.

Naden: triple glued en blind gestikt

De naden zijn drievoudig gelijmd en blind gestikt. Die extra lijmlaag maakt de naden sterker en dichter dan bij een standaard gelijmd pak, zodat er minder water doorheen komt.

Sluiting: chest zip (F.U.Z.E.)

De rits zit voorop je borst. Een back zip is over de rug de zwakke plek waar water naar binnen kan spoelen. De chest zip mist die naad en houdt je droger. In ruil kost de chest zip even oefening bij aan- en uittrekken.

Wanneer in Nederland?

De 4/3 is je allroundpak voor de Noordzee. Grofweg de late lente en de herfst, van mei tot in oktober, als het water tussen de 8 en 16°C zit. Voor de zomer vaak net te warm (dan pak je een 3/2), en in de diepe winter te dun (dan ga je naar een 5/4). Voor het grootste deel van het jaar is dit het pak waar je naar grijpt.
