Hybride Canal Digitaal UHD ontvanger

De M7 MZ-104 is de opvolger van de MZ-102, een compacte, interactieve HD-ontvanger met geïntegreerde smartcard voor de ontvangst van radio en tv via satelliet en internet.

Interactieve diensten (TV Gemist, Begin Gemist, Films & Series, Erotheek) zijn in de EU beschikbaar mits het abonnement geregistreerd is op een Nederlands adres. De ontvanger dient hiervoor (bekabeld of draadloos) te zijn aangesloten op het internet. Bij de meeste abonnementen die Canal Digitaal aanbiedt, krijg je de mogelijkheid om via internet programma’s op te nemen van een selecte groep zenders. Sluit je een externe harde schijf aan op de USB-poort van de ontvanger (USB 2.0/3.0, capaciteit tenminste 16 GB), dan kun je daarmee ook opnemen en live-tv pauzeren. Via USB is de ontvanger voorzien van een beperkte opnamefunctie door de enkele satelliettuner. Als je opneemt zijn alleen de zenders op dezelfde satelliettransponder en de OTT-zenders beschikbaar om te bekijken. Externe harde schijf wordt niet bijgeleverd.

Interactief tv kijken

Naast live televisie kijken, kunt u met de M7 MZ-104 in combinatie met uw Canal Digitaal-abonnement ook gebruikmaken van verschillende interactieve diensten als de ontvanger is verbonden met internet:

  • Extra tv- en radiozenders
  • Begin Gemist
  • TV Gemist/HbbTV (rode-knopdiensten)
  • VoD: Films & Series en Erotheek
  • Multischerm-oplossing met Canal Digitaal TV Everywhere

PVR via USB

Voor een moderne ontvanger is opnemen en live-tv pauzeren natuurlijk een must. Met de MZ-104 is dat eenvoudig. Als u een externe harddisk (USB 2.0 of 3.0) aansluit op de USB-poort, kunt u tv-uitzendingen opnemen en live pauzeren. Canal Digitaal raadt een externe harde schijf (16 GB opslagruimte of meer) aan om exclusief te gebruiken i.c.m. de MZ-104.

Let op: de M7 MZ-104 heeft een enkele satelliettuner. Als u opneemt zijn alleen de zenders op dezelfde satelliettransponder en de OTT-zenders beschikbaar om te bekijken.

Cloud recording

Als u een Canal Digitaal abonnement heeft, is het vanaf nu mogelijk om in de cloud op te nemen, hierdoor kunt u blijven kijken wat u wilt en kunt u toch opnemen. Het aantal uren dat er in de cloud kan worden opgenomen en hoe lang het beschikbaar is om terug te kijken wordt bepaald door het type abonnement, hierbij een overzicht:

  • Abonnement Riant: 20 uur opnemen, opnames 30 dagen bewaren
  • Abonnement Rijk: 100 uur opnemen, opnames 365 dagen bewaren
  • Abonnement Royaal: 100 uur opnemen, opnames 365 dagen bewaren
  • Abonnement VOL: 20 uur opnemen, opnames 30 dagen bewaren
  • Abonnement BOMVOL: 100 uur opnemen, opnames 365 dagen bewaren
Het fijne aan cloud recording is dat je het kunt programmeren op afstand maar ook kunt bekijken op afstand, hierdoor is het mogelijk om te kijken via een telefoon, tablet of pc.

Wifi of ethernet

U kunt de M7 MZ-102 ontvanger zowel draadloos als bekabeld (via de ethernetpoort) met internet verbinden.

Eenvoudige installatie

M7 heeft ervoor gezorgd dat MZ-104 ontvanger snel en eenvoudig te installeren is. Zo installeert u deze ontvanger:

    1. Kies de taal voor de menu-software (standaard: Nederlands).

 

    1. Kies het type internetverbinding dat u wilt gebruiken. U heeft de volgende opties:
      • LAN voor een bekabelde verbinding (aangeraden)
      • Draadloos netwerk voor wifi
      • Overslaan (nog geen verbinding maken met het internet)
    2. Pincode aanpassen (indien gewenst). De standaard pincode van de ontvanger en voor ouderlijk toezicht is 1234. De standaard betaalpincode is 0000.

 

    1. Satellietscan (LNB-configuratie + zenderlijst laden):
      • Standaard Canal Digitaal LNB-configuratie:
        • Poort A (satelliet 1): ASTRA 19,2 graden oost
        • Poort B (satelliet 2): ASTRA 23,5 graden oost
        • Poort C (satelliet 3): ASTRA 28,2 graden oost
        • Poort D (satelliet 4): Hotbird 13,0 graden oost
    2. Softwarecontrole via internet en/of satelliet. Als er nieuwe software beschikbaar is, wordt deze ingeladen.

Als de decoder verbonden is met internet, komt u op de homepage van het menu terecht. Zo niet, begint u direct met televisie kijken.

Great toy for two big German Shepherds

We only buy Tuffy dog toys now because we have one German Shepherd, and we often watch our daughter's GSD too, and the two dogs tear anything else apart in minutes. Tuffy toys are BY FAR superior to any other dog toy we have tried. That being said, some Tuffy toys seem to last longer than others with the two dogs, and this one has been pretty good! We've had it for a few weeks now, and it's just now starting to show some white (stuffing) where their teeth have pierced the top of the toy. That's pretty good, considering they play tug of war with it and can tear into toys pretty hard. If it were just our one dog, I think it would last a lot longer because it's the tug of war between the two of them that does them in faster. Even so, when they do manage to tear the fabric in vulnerable places, I just pull the stuffing out from that area, and they continue to play with it, sometimes for months! This one is better than some other Tuffy toys too because it has lots of areas where there is already more fabric and reinforced seams than stuffing, like all the legs on the side, the tail, and even the pincers. So far, they haven't been able to tear into those at all. Just a bit on the top of the head, and so far, no stuffing coming out yet. This one is a big win for us! When they finally do do it in, I will turn around and buy another Scorch the Scorpion right away!

Tuffy Desert Phrog vs Lola
Color: Green Leaping Phrog, Color: Green Leaping Phrog
Just a little background about my dog. Lola is a 5 year old corgi-terrier mix with jaws of steal. Lesser stuffed toys have met death in under 5 minutes. Tennis balls last less than a day. Rope toys that do not have frayed ends might possibly last a week (frayed ends never stand a chance). The only toys that she has not managed to destroy are her Kong, a Kong bone, and a racquet ball. I figured I would document the life span of Phrog (Tuffy Scale: 9) before making my final judgement on it’s durability. Day 1 - Phrog Arrives! Lola was very excited about the arrival of Phrog and immediately went into destruction mode. Phrog did sustain a little damage before we were able to bribe her to drop Phrog and get her understand that he was more fun to play fetch with than to mutilate. The white you see in the picture is not stuffing, but the second layer of defense for the toy. The fact that my living room is not full of stuffing and I didn’t have to pry a squeaker out of my dog’s mouth, I’d say Phrog wins the Day 1 challenge. Day 9 - Phrog has sustained a little more damage, but not anything life threatening. His side wound is a little bit larger and one of his eyes is half ripped off. For safety reasons, I am going to finish removing the damaged eye and some loose thread from various places. Other than that, Phrog is still holding up and holds top toy spot. I have also found him very useful for dealing with anxiety; the squeaker can often distract her from her stressors and Phrog takes the abuse of her frustrations. Day 16 - Phrog is starting to show signs of mortal wounds. Lola has made it through the thicker layer around his arm and I can see the stuffing. It is only a matter of time before gets all the way through. Day 60 - Phrog still lives!!! I have done some surgery on Phrog to reinforce the fabric around his arms, but Franken-Phrog is still the favorite of all of the toys. She will even get brave enough to rescue Phrog from the evil vacuum when he is kidnapped and tortured. I am thinking about purchasing Phrog II for the inevitable day when Phrog goes off to the pet toyland in the sky, but for now, there is only one Phrog for Lola.
