Ca'Di Rajo is een modern wijnbedrijf dat vandaag de dag geleid wordt door de drie broers Cecchetto, Simone, Alessio en Fabio. Zij zijn de derde generatie van dit mooie familiebedrijf dat gesticht werd 1931. Het domein, gelegen op een speciale plek waar het meer van Venetië de Dolomieten ontmoet is een centraal punt in het Prosecco gebied zoals we dat vandaag de dag kennen. Bij Ca'Di Rajo gaan traditie en innovatie hand in hand. Zo bestaat de aanplant qua druiven uit een mix van lokale rassen als Raboso, Marzemina bianca en internationale rassen als Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay en Merlot. Nog een teken dat de Cecchetto broers altijd met traditie bezig zijn is het feit dat ruim 20 hectare van het wijngoed staat aangeplant volgens de aloude lokale Bellussera methode. Deze geometrische manier van aanplant is typisch voor de streek. De druiven hangen ongeveer 2 meter boven de grond in een soort raster. Dit om schimmelvorming tegen te gaan en om de zonexpositie te verbeteren. Ca'Di Rajo is een modern bedrijf met duidelijk oog voor het verleden met als doel om altijd de kwaliteit te verbeteren! 

Stoere en complexe wijn gemaakt van de lokale Raboso druif. 10% van het fruit wordt ingedroogd. De wijn rijpt minimaal 24 maanden op eikenhout. Het resultaat is een kruidige rode wijn met veel dik fruit, specerijen en structuur. Een echte maaltijdwijn!

Your cat could technically play with it if you had a cat and they wanted one quality wise, I would say it’s definitely close to indestructible, but it’s not completely indestructible and the colors were so fun.
