Soms wil je oorbellen die meteen "af" voelen. Niet te druk, wel opvallend. Niet te braaf, wel stijlvol. Nina is precies dat soort paar. Een combinatie van strakke vormen en een subtiel wild detail, waardoor je look in één keer karakter krijgt. De ronde oorsteker houdt het ontwerp rustig en modern, terwijl de marquise-vormige hanger zorgt voor een elegante lengte. En dan is er de finishing touch: een luipaard gravure in metallic goud die het licht vangt en Nina die typische Wild & Chic vibe geeft, zonder dat het te veel wordt.

De basis van Nina is zwart acryl. Dat maakt deze oorbellen super combineerbaar: zwart past bij alles en voelt altijd chic. De metallic gouden gravure geeft net genoeg contrast om op te vallen. Van dichtbij zie je de fijne lijnen van de luipaard print, vanop afstand zie je vooral een strak, elegant ontwerp met een warme gouden glans. Perfect als je houdt van panterprint, maar het liever subtiel draagt dan all-over.

Met een formaat van ongeveer 4,5 cm bij 2 cm zijn Nina oorbellen duidelijk aanwezig, maar nog steeds heel draagbaar. Ze staan prachtig bij los haar, maar komen ook mooi uit als je je haar opsteekt. Draag ze bij een basic outfit en ze worden je eyecatcher. Combineer ze met een blazer, een zwarte jurk of een warme knit en je look voelt meteen verzorgd en krachtig.

Zoals al mijn oorbellen wordt Nina 100% met de hand gemaakt in mijn atelier in Anzegem. Ik ontwerp de vormen, werk de gravure uit en zorg voor een mooie afwerking. En comfort? Dat is altijd een must. Acryl is super lichtgewicht, waardoor je ook statement oorbellen kan dragen zonder zware oren. Nina ziet er misschien bold uit, maar voelt verrassend licht aan.

Ook als je gevoelige oren hebt, zit je goed. De oorstekers zijn gemaakt van hypoallergeen RVS, wat helpt om irritatie te vermijden en zorgeloos te dragen. Nina is dus perfect als je graag elke dag oorbellen draagt, maar niet wil inboeten op comfort.

Nina is voor wie houdt van elegantie met een klein randje. Een beetje wild, heel chic, en altijd draagbaar.

Major Safety Red Flag! 3 Prong Outlets, 2 Prong Plug, This Does Not Provide A Grounded Connection!

This power strip has a compact design, a convenient outlet layout, and USB ports, so on the surface it looks useful. The patented three-row layout is clever for spacing the outlets, but that only applies to how the outlets are positioned. It does not change how the strip is actually powered or protected. The problem is the safety design. It has 11 three-prong outlets, but the wall plug itself is only two-prong. Without a ground prong, it is not grounded. The two flat prongs are hot and neutral only, so this does not provide the grounded protection that the three-prong outlets appear to suggest. That also makes the surge protection claims highly questionable to me. A real grounded surge protector should have a grounding path for excess surge energy. With only a two-prong plug, I would not trust this to provide the kind of surge protection people generally expect when plugging in electronics or grounded devices. The manual mentions surge protection, ground protection, short-circuit protection, over-current protection, over-voltage protection, over-heat protection, and UL 1363 safety standards, but I could not find any visible UL, ETL, or similar safety certification mark on the unit or paperwork. The only marking I saw was FCC, which is not the same thing as electrical safety certification. Given the two-prong plug and three-prong outlets, those protection claims feel dubious at best and misleading at worst. The USB charging is also underwhelming. The total USB output is listed as 24W, which is not much for today’s devices, especially when that power is shared across multiple ports. We frequently use 35W or higher from a single USB charger, so I would not buy this for fast or modern device charging either. Because of the two-prong plug paired with three-prong outlets, I will absolutely not use this. I do not want a power strip that makes devices appear protected or grounded when they are not. For me, this is not a small design issue. It is a serious safety concern.

Convenient Design but Raises Some Safety Concerns

As other reviews have mentioned, this power strip does not provide true grounding protection. It allows devices with three-prong plugs to connect through a two-prong wall outlet, but the strip itself still relies on a two-prong connection. Because of that, I think it’s important to understand the potential safety limitations before using it, especially with higher-powered electronics. It does offer a large number of outlets and USB ports, which is convenient for older homes with limited access to modern plugs. However, considering the price, there are safer and more reliable alternatives available that may be a better long-term choice.
