They also changed their approach to making albums. There was a new mix of musicians, instruments and recording personnel for Black Eyed Man. The Junkies also consciously worked to record a diverse assortment of arrangements and formulated songs individually, concentrating on an overall unifying lyrical theme of love found, love lost and love betrayed. Over 30 different musicians contributed to Black Eyed Man, including John Prine, Tony Quarington, Ken Mhyr, Jeff Bird, Lewis Melville, and many more. This LP was mastered for vinyl by Peter Moore.
