Fictions is a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players, set in the gritty world of gangster pulp literature. Players assume the roles of mob bosses, each aiming to seize control of the city by winning the mayoral election. The game unfolds across three chapters, each represented by a different scenario, where players will bolster their ranks with accomplices.

The mafia's power lies in its deck of Accomplice cards. In the first two chapters, players must earn as many Reputation Points as possible to recruit new and stronger accomplices. In the final scenario, A Bid for Power, they'll use their enhanced deck to vie for victory in the election.
