Care Instructions

Dry-Cleaning

  • In dry-cleaning, fluids are used to remove stains from the fabric.
  • The fluids contain little or no water and do not penetrate the fabric as water does.
  • Dry-cleaning is the best way to care for Art silk saree since the solvents used do not affect silk.

Ironing

  • While pressing, keep the iron in medium heat only.
  • Press Saree Fabric while it is still damp with a warm iron, or use a steam iron.

Packing / Placement

  • The saree should be stored in a cool, dry place.
  • Unfold your silk sarees and change the folding preferably every month.

Wearing Art Silk Saree

  • At functions, pin up the tip of the saree and let the rest fall on your hand for a graceful look.
  • The pleats should be carefully pressed and shaped while draping

It's true to size. I have a 42" chest and typically wear a large. I ordered large and it fits. Grab these while you can as most of these mock neck t shirts are a cotton poly blend. These are 98% cotton. This is important because although the cotton/poly blends dry quicker, they are uncomfortably warm if it gets above 70 F. I have purchased other mock turtlenecks and had my local dry cleaners convert them from long sleeves to short, but they are slightly heavier weight than these. I do wish that they made these in a dark green or military green color.
