Internationally bestselling author Lyndsay Faye was introduced to the Sherlock Holmes mysteries when she was ten years old and her dad suggested she read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's short story "The Adventure of the Speckled Band." She immediately became enamored with tales of Holmes and his esteemed biographer Dr. John Watson, and later, began spinning these quintessential characters into her own works of fiction--from her acclaimed debut novel, Dust and Shadow, which pitted the famous detective against Jack the Ripper, to a series of short stories for the Strand Magazine, whose predecessor published the very first Sherlock Holmes short story in 1891. Faye's best Holmes tales, including two new works, are brought together in The Whole Art of Detection, a stunning collection that spans Holmes's career, from self-taught young upstart to publicly lauded detective, both before and after his faked death over a Swiss waterfall in 1894. In "The Lowther Park Mystery," the unsociable Holmes is forced to attend a garden party at the request of his politician brother and improvises a bit of theater to foil a conspiracy against the government. "The Adventure of the Thames Tunnel" brings Holmes's attention to the baffling murder of a jewel thief in the middle of an underground railway passage. With Holmes and Watson encountering all manner of ungrateful relatives, phony psychologists, wronged wives, plaid-garbed villains, and even a peculiar species of deadly red leech, The Whole Art of Detection is a must-read for Sherlockians and any fan of historical crime fiction with a modern sensibility.Binding Type: Hardcover

Comfortable & well-fitting, but some differences in stiffness between batches
Size: Medium, Color: Black/Deep Blue/Deep Grey/Heather Grey
I've basically been exclusively buying these since I've discovered them. Super-comfortable and maintain their shape for a long time, but I've noticed from buying it multiple times that sometimes the pouch area has stiffer texture and more support than other times (when it's loose & stretchy like the rest of it). I wish I could specify receiving the more-supported ones because they tend to produce less....how to say, knocking the boys around.

Look great, feel great
Size: Large, Color: Black
These feel great and fit well. With most briefs I tend to the trouble either keeping the front in or not having the back cover everything but these do both things and are very soft. They also look great, even on body types not in the promo picture. They are a great set of briefs and have held up so far and I got mine a little around a year ago and wear them often.

Comfortable, but run big
Size: Small, Color: Red/Orange/Yellow/Blue
I'm a small guy and I purchased size small. The underwear are not bad. Great if you're a bigger guy or if you have a really big butt. If you're on the smaller side or skinnier though they'll fit a little loose. My butt is pretty big, but it doesn't fill out the back completely. Very comfortable though and the waist fits fine. Just a big backside. They don't ride up and so far they're durable. No fading in color and the material holds strong after many wears and washes.
