Armada ARV 100 Ski

The Armada ARV 100 Ski is a playful all-mountain freestyle twin built for skiers who want one ski that can lap the park, slash side hits, handle mixed resort snow, and stay loose when a few fresh inches stack up.

What Sets It Apart

  • 100mm All-Mountain Platform: A versatile waist width gives the ARV 100 enough surface area for soft snow and variable conditions while staying quick enough for park laps and everyday resort skiing.
  • AR Freestyle Rocker: Rockered tips and tails with camber underfoot help the ski feel loose, surfy, and playful without giving up reliable edge hold when conditions firm up.
  • Poplar Core with Ash Binding Insert: The full poplar core delivers a predictable blend of pop, stability, and low weight, while the ash binding insert adds screw retention and durability for hard landings.
  • Built for Impact: 2.5 Impact Edges, S7 Base, and Armada’s W3DGEWALL sidewall construction are designed to stand up to freestyle abuse and everyday all-mountain wear.

Ideal For

The ARV 100 is ideal for intermediate to advanced skiers with a creative, playful style who want a directional-enough ski for the whole resort and a twin-tip shape for switch takeoffs, landings, butters, presses, and park progression. It is especially well matched for skiers who split time between groomers, side hits, trees, soft snow, and terrain park features.

Technical Specs

  • Category: All-mountain freestyle twin-tip ski
  • Waist Width: 100mm
  • Rocker Profile: AR Freestyle Rocker; rocker/camber/rocker
  • Core: 100% Poplar Core with Ash Binding Insert
  • Construction Features: W3DGEWALL sidewall, 2.5 Impact Edge, S7 Base
  • Flex: Medium, with a 6/10 nose-waist-tail flex profile
  • Bindings: Flat ski; bindings not included

How It Compares

Compared to narrower park-focused skis, the ARV 100 offers more surface area and confidence in soft or chopped-up snow. Compared to heavier directional all-mountain skis, it stays more playful, pressable, and freestyle-oriented, making it a better fit for skiers who want to turn the whole mountain into a terrain park.

Bottom Line: The Armada ARV 100 is a durable, playful all-mountain freestyle ski for skiers who want park energy, twin-tip versatility, and a 100mm platform that can handle everything from groomers to soft-snow stashes.

Grab the ARV 100 for a creative, all-mountain setup that is ready for park laps, side hits, and unpredictable resort days.

A Fantastic overview of the Halo universe in a beautiful format
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
Truly an excellent book. Goes over nearly everything with detail and beautiful images. Everything from Noble Team, to the races of the Covenant, weapons, ships, frigates, and much much more. This book is so full of information it makes my arm sore holding it while I read. Highly recommend this for Halo Fans. As a fan who’s loved the series since Halo 2 in 2004, I would never hesitate to buy this book. Darkhorse has published a winner here!

Very Nice but don’t expect perfect condition
Format: Hardcover
Very nice book and thick with super nice pictures, it was a Christmas gift. My son collects books, but it was damaged. It was inside of a very nice box but not enough filling . But the edges are all messed up. Not really worth collecting. If you don’t care about the book being in very nice condition, this is a nice book.

Great buy for the price
Format: Hardcover
Larger than I expected for the price and a hardcover. My son was super excited and spent most of Christmas morning looking through it and spitting out facts to us.

Final Fantasy Ultimania Archive Review
Format: Hardcover
This is a quick review of the book from darkhorses latest production the Final Fantasy Ultimania Archive. This book coves covers final fantasy 1-6 in various sections. The various sections for all the final fantasy games are listed as follows : 1. Art 2. Final Fantasy (Insert number here) Story 3. Characters 4. World 5. Monsters 6. Extra Content - goes into different sub catagories and varies from final fantasy to final fantasy. 7. Last section is - Final Fantasy (Insert number here) Memories. I have to say I really like this book a lot, but then again It's a dark horse bool publication of course it's going to be good. The pages are THICKKK. When I thought they were glued together or something by accident but nope, these pages are just really that thick. The hardcover is nice, although best to keep it clean since it's mostly all white. My favorite section is probably the character section. Not only does it list which character is conected to who in some way as well as the villians but also it shows Yoshitaka Amano complicated and beautiful artwork bellow each of the characters pixilated forms. It really gives you a perspective in how Amanos art work was translated into these sprites. Even though the section on art is nothing special seeing as I own "The Sky The Art Of Final Fantasy Slipcase Edition" which I recommend btw, It is still no less nice to see his work here too. I do think we get to see more of his monster desgins here though, but also the art covers for each variation of the game like from the Famicon to Android to PlayStation. It also shows the different logos that were in other platforms/handhelds or media devices. Really cool stuff here. The story section is OK, doesn't really go indepth about it though. Nice but overall just an OK section. The world section is pretty cool, showing the entire map of each game. The final fantasy 1 map is super basic, with some green here, dots of green for bushes, some yellow there, etc. Overall a neat little section. The monster section does the same thing with the characters section in the sense that it shows you Yoshitaka Amano fantasic drawings along side the pixel forms they take in the games. Incredibly fascinating if I do say so myself. The extra content section is were you see the technical side of what went to making into these games like the sprite data, the map, color list and so on and so forth. This section varies from final fantasy to final fantasy but it gets really technical about it, really cool. The final section the memories section is just that, memories of the game with random images and quotes of the game. Final Verdict - 10 out of 10 I did check in the back of the book for a final section called creators voices which are short interviews with the grand masters of the final fantasy series itself and how they feel about their work. Really nice. Overall this is a well done book by dark horse books, yet another fantastic release guys. I highly recommend buying this book regardless if your a collector or not. My recommendations? Pre-order Volume 2 of The Final Fantasy Ultimania Archive, it comes out in december but still. As well as Pre-Order any of the upcomimg dark horse books, they are all really good regardless if you played the games or not.
