AFENGINN With their ten years, five full length albums, numerous grants and awards and around 500 high octane shows worldwide, Afenginn is one of the heavy players in the European field of contemporary world/folk music. They are continuously seeking new borders and projects to push the limits of their music and are highly active on the live scene with numerous tours in the past years. NEW ALBUM: LUX The fifth full length album from Afenginn is named LUX and will be released worldwide on January 28 2013. LUX is following the award winning 'Bastard Etno' from 2010 and the release will be accompanied with tours in Europe throughout 2013. Afenginn biography Formed in Copenhagen in 2002. Afenginn means intoxication and strength. With high tempo, great joy and border seeking musical ideas Afenginn has built up a reputation of virtuosity and excellent live shows worldwide during the past ten years. The group is inquisitive, playful and imaginative and takes an anarchic approach to traditional musical structures. Their compositions range from lyrical, picturesque and program music-like pieces to jagged up-tempo numbers in odd time signatures, always with the special rhythmic and melodic finesse which characterizes Afenginn. Their own term for the band's musical style is 'Bastard Ethno'. Performing with artists such as Frank London from the Klezmatics and doing performances with symphony orchestra, Afenginn is always ambitious for new adventures. Another experiment was the ballet 'SOMA' - a large scale modern ballet project created in 2010 at Bellevue Theatre in Copenhagen with the Cross Connection Ballet Company, based on Afenginn's music. Afenginn has received rave concert and album reviews, music awards and grants. Among other things, the group participated in the 'Young Elite' 2009-2011 program initiated by the Danish Arts Council for talented ambitious musicians. In 2012 the production 'Decenniale' was set up at Husets Teater in Copenhagen, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Afenginn, featuring guest musicians, scenography, actor and choir. The upcoming 5th album 'LUX' is emphasizing the lyrical aerial beauty of light. 4th album 'Bastard Etno' (2010) was chosen 'World Album of the Year 2010' in DK. Concept album 'Reptilica Polaris' (2008) featuring male choir and brass section, was awarded 'Contemporary Folk Artist 2009' at the Danish Folk Music Awards. 'Akrobakkus' (2006) reached the World Music charts Europe in February 2007 and was nominated in several categories at the Danish Folk and World Music Awards. 'Retrograd' (2004) was chosen 'World Album of the Year' in 2005 at the Danish World Music Awards. No challenge for a M/L dog
Color: Pink
Too easy for my 30 pound shepherd. The puzzle moves around easily. It’s fun for him but he goes through it quick, not enough working through it time.

My cats are too lazy for this
Color: Pink
I bought this in hopes that my cats would find it entertaining, as they've never had to work for treats before, they unanimously decided to simply meow and look cute. THATS all it takes and poof! They get a treat.. (It gets me every time). It is an interesting well made item and seems sturdy and intriguing, my cats are just spoiled Lil stinkers who don't want to "struggle" to get a treat...lol

Perfect puppy starter kit and gift! Perfect for plane rides and kennel!
Color: Neutral, Color: Neutral
Perfect puppy gift! We use the kennel as her safe haven, and for potty training . This heartbeat tool is amazing and helped our puppy get acclimated to her kennel. She goes into her kennel and sleeps with it on her own. It calmed her down on the plane completely. We had a 6-hour flight and she did fine with the heartbeat toy. At home innthe kennel, the whining was very very minimal the first couple days, then it stopped. As you would hear and see her snuggle up and fall asleep. I think it is a bit pricy, but not too bad for the benefit. The heartbeat is seperate and is putninside a pouch on the stuffed animal. The blanket is soft, beautiful and perfect size. Good quality fabric. Both chew toys were loved by her.I do notice my large breed puppy prefers the rope and small tennis ball type chew toys. However, she plays with these too. Haven't used the heating packs yet, they go inside the pouch with the heartbeat item. I am sure we will because my puppy does love to be in front of my small heater under my desk to keep my feet warm. The packaging was extremely nice and fancy and was complimentary to the items inside.

Best Idea for Puppy's First Day Home
Color: Pink
I was a bit reserved on purchasing this kit because it was a bit expensive. After a month now with my pup at home, this was the best investment for us and our GSD. On the first night, we used the heart beating snuggle puppy and blanket. She slept the entire night without an accident or a cry. The heartbeat in the snuggle puppy and the heat pad was the best idea. Our puppy never felt alone (just fyi, her crate was in the room with us for the 2 weeks).
A month later, she is so protective of her snuggle puppy. We only used 1 heat pack to soothe her during the first week. The heat packs last a while. Our GSD now uses the snuggle puppy as a pillow or an object to be close to while she is in her crate. Any new puppy owner could definitely benefit from using this. Of course, with all things puppy, it does require a bit of time to correlate toys as a positive thing. We exclusively keep the snuggle puppy in her crate and make it a part of her secure place.
My GSD puppy did really care for the teething heart toy. Even after freezing it, she didn't care for it. She also outgrew the small toy. She will chew it from time to time but it doesn't entertain her much.
I found the kit, overall, very helpful with our puppy's adjustment to our home. She sleeps through the night since 8 weeks old and now at 12 weeks old. We've never had an accident in her crate overnight with the help with the snuggle puppy.
