The book's principal aim is to provide a simple, thorough survey of elementary topics in the study of collections of objects, or sets, that possess a mathematical structure.The author begins with an informal discussion of set theory in Chapter 1, reserving coverage of countability for Chapter 5, where it appears in the context of compactness. In the second chapter Professor Mendelson discusses metric spaces, paying particular attention to various distance functions which may be defined on Euclidean n-space and which lead to the ordinary topology. Chapter 3 takes up the concept of topological space, presenting it as a generalization of the concept of a metric space. Chapters 4 and 5 are devoted to a discussion of the two most important topological properties: connectedness and compactness. Ball's construction is flimsy, buyer beware.

For a couple of hours, this was the best toy ever! And yet, even though I carefully supervised my dog while she played with this ball, she still managed to break it within twenty-four hours. She managed to squeeze the ball tight enough that it permanently sealed the two halves of the internal mechanics, and I was unable to turn the ball off.

Dog's favorite toy!

My dog asks for this toy everyday and sometimes she wants to play with it when it's not vibrating but the shaking feature makes it extra fun for her, but it does require daily charging. She actually fetches sometimes with this toy which is a new development in her play. I take it outside on the grass with her and also inside on the laminate flooring. I like the time out feature so it's not always moving too! Definitely a fan of this product and I hope it lasts a long time for my dog.

Great dog toy

My dog loves this interactive ball. It is made with great material and the quality is good. It is rechargeable and it's great to take to dog park and also out in my back yard. My dog enjoys it so much . The battery life is great and it is chew resistant. It don't make much noise and that's a good thing. Size is just right for my dog.
