Carl Perkins was born into a sharecropper family in fertile northwestern Tennessee, separated from neighboring states Missouri and Kentucky by curvy bends of the Mississippi River. Even in his early days scouting talent, Sun Records founder Sam Phillips had it right when he met Perkins and declared with reverence "this is one of the world's greatest plow-hands." Carl Perkins was a proud country kid. With Sun Records, Perkins released eight singles and one studio album, but his recording legacy is often undeservedly simplified to this singular, million-selling 7" record. Originally released in February 1956, "Blue Suede Shoes" b/w '"Honey, Don't" is a rock and roll standard and critically praised as one of the first massive blockbusters of it's kind. It walks down the road forged by Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Ike Turner, Bill Haley, Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley to fuse elements of blues, country, pop and gospel in a completely new direction. Though Elvis Presley's cover would cement the song's status as a standard, Carl Perkins owes a good deal to Elvis for his name recognition and success as an artist. With Elvis's cover of "Blue Suede Shoes" recorded and ready to release at the same time as Perkins' original version, Presley requested that his major label distribution hold back his cover single until the original single sold one million copies, purely out of loyalty and consideration for his friend Perkins.

Looks like fun but NO
Was so excited to get this and slow my girls down eating their treats and engage them in play. How big do the treats have to be? Because I had to scoop wet gross chewed up treats out of each pocket, vacuum, and put them in the washing machine AFTER my girls abandoned them with the treats still in the pockets. GREAT IDEA but not functional. Agressive chewers would have destroyed the toy the first time. SO DISAPPOINTED

Keep these in our pet toy collection at all times.

My 4 dogs love this toy so much I have them all over to play with. The inside helps make this adorable toy last for longer than most dog toys and for the price this means ALOT to me for the value of my money.
This dog toy is soft and fun to throw around the house and not break anything as they chase it around. What dog doesn't love a squeaker toy also for an added bonus. The squeaker doesn't last long with 4 large dogs, but long enough I feel like for the price I paid.

My dog loves the Multipet Skele toys!

My dog absolutely loves this toy and the similar ones (we had a snowman first). He rolls around with it and seems to be so happy. My dog is an aggressive chewer- and he destroys these toys within a couple of months. We have to take pieces of it away as they come loose, especially the squeeker, but he still plays with the rest. I wish it would last longer because he really loves it, but I haven’t found a toy that he cant destroy yet.

My 2 Australian shepards destroyed this cheaply made toy in 20 minutes! It's advertised for tough chewers, lol, the material it was made from is so thin, you could almost see through it. Don't waste your time or money!

My dogs love it

I have to say, this is not an indestructible toy. It would have been better made without the squeaker or filling in the head. Once I removed those (after the dogs dug them out) they have played with this and the chicken (by the same company) for months. It's looking a bit ragged and I had to eventually cut the face off since they had chewed into it. However, the ropes have held despite multiple games of tug-of-war. My rat terrier and Moxie mix love these toys. Best ones we've found to last.
