Being a very vigorous red variety, the key is to manage our Shiraz leaf canopies carefully to ensure the best from our Shiraz vine Crop yields are deliberately kept low with hand pruning. This ensures full ripening and flavour development. After fermentation on skins for about 5 days, this Shiraz was barrel aged for up to 14 months

Crop yields are deliberately kept low with hand pruning. This ensures full ripening and flavour development. After fermentation on skins for about 5 days, this Shiraz was barrel aged for up to 14 months in carefully selected French and American oak barrels. 15% sees new oak barrels while the rest mature in 2 to 3-year-old oak for complexity without oak domination.
A stylish and vibrant Shiraz showing bursts of blackcurrants, spice and subtle hints of choc mint. The palate is full and rich in flavour, lush dark berries coat the mouth while savoury tannins provide an alluring texture that lingers. A food-friendly wine and a classic example of McLaren Vale Shiraz in the glass.
