HO NW Roanoke Shops Gondola - Undecorated 3D Resin Printed KitThe prototype car was built by the Norfolk and Western Railway at their Roanoke Shops in Roanoke, VA. Originally these cars were N&W class G 72A gondolas from 9 1972 7 1973 (N&W Series 188000 189249). Norfolk Southern rebuilt all of them in 1998 with new, taller sides to increase their capacity to 3351 cubic foot. There are two phases of this car and the difference is located on the A and B ends where one style is ribbed and the other style is flat.

The prototype car was built by the Norfolk and Western Railway at their Roanoke Shops in Roanoke, VA.  Originally these cars were N&W class G-72A gondolas from 9/1972-7/1973 (N&W Series 188000-189249). Norfolk Southern rebuilt all of them in 1998 with new, taller sides to increase their capacity to 3351 cubic foot.  There are two phases of this car and the difference is located on the A and B ends where one style is ribbed and the other style is flat.  Norfolk Southern reclassed them as the G-72D's, G-72E's and G-72F's and then renumbered them.  These cars have been used to haul scrap metal, crossties, and have even been used to haul coal for mainline steam excursions (NKP 765). 

HO undecorated 3D resin printed kit.  This car is part of our line known as the Roster Expansion Series. These kits are meant to be quick builds to help expand your fleet with minimal effort.  With molded on grabs and stirrups, these cars can be super detailed or built as is to expand your freight car fleet quickly.

~Deluxe  kit comes with the following: 3D printed car body/coupler covers, ExactRail trucks with 33" wheels, Kadee 158 scale head couplers, 2#-56x1/8" screws for couplers, and 2#-56x1/4" screws for trucks.

~Basic kit comes with the following 3D printed parts: car body and coupler covers.

Holes for screws in coupler box, coupler cover, and truck mount should be drilled and tapped for proper screw attachment using a 1.8mm drill bit and 2-56 straight flute tap.

Kits are printed to order and may take up to three weeks to print, wash, dry, and cure depending on current order volume.

I've used each type of item in my vacuum and they all work just as well as the originals. The fit is precise and they last just as long as the original items. It's a great value pack and I love that I have so many extras in the house. I did ding one star because the included screwdriver is the wrong size to install the side brush. If you aren't paying attention during installation you could easily strip the screw. The other items are very easy to install.
