SET-UP: Although Flourite comes pre-washed, being a natural product means it may accumulate dust during shipping and should be rinsed prior to use to eliminate any leftover particles. When filling the aquarium with water, do so gradually to prevent disturbing the Flourite substrate. Position a bowl in the tank and pour water directly into the bowl, allowing it to overflow gently onto the gravel bed. It’s normal for the water to appear cloudy at first. To clear up the cloudiness, utilize mechanical filtration (like filter floss). You can also use Clarity to speed up the clearing process.
