The ingredients in the boilie mix are the same, but the proportion of water-soluble ingredients has been increased. This means the boilie becomes greasy more quickly and effectively, and the attractants are rapidly exchanged, even in cold water. Our team anglers and customers rely on the Cold Water Boilies in winter and enjoy many successes, even when fishing through ice holes on solid ice!
Carptrack Monster Liver Cold Water Boilie
This version of the famous Monster-Liver boilie has been further adapted for particularly cold water (below 15°C). As a result, it releases soluble elements even at these temperatures – just like other boilies in summer – which attract fish to their feeding ground (carp track).
Light feeding and even "single-hook baits" lead to very successful winter trips .
Carp fishing in winter? Of course!
Consisting of 50% Carptrack Monster CW and 50% Liver CW mix, plus the additives Carptrack Liquid (18ml/kg), Carptrack Monster Flavour (5ml/kg), and Carptrack Frankfurter Sausage Flavour (4ml/kg). New: the Winter Meets Cold Water video clip
The five most important rules for success:
1. Never overfeed; fish digest food more slowly in cold water (they are cold-blooded animals) – feed small portions regularly.
2. Starting in October, observe where the carp are congregating; these spots are often not far from their wintering grounds.
3. Look for deep water, holes where the current is slower, or where temperatures even in the harshest winter are usually still around 4°C. A body of water always freezes from the top down!
4. Carp move around much less in winter (except in rivers), so if your fishing spot isn't productive, move it until you get a bite!
5. Winter carp feeding periods are short, and low-pressure systems are often the most successful. Then, try fishing in shallow water!
