To achieve its rich, weathered appearance, each board is exposed to ammonia fumes, deepening the wood’s natural tones before being stained to complete the ageing process. The planks are then double wire-brushed to enhance grain detail and hand-finished with a natural hard beeswax oil, giving a beautifully matte, textured surface that is both durable and full of character.
