Lawrence Murray Dixon (February 16, 1901 - October 8, 1949) was an architect in Miami Beach, Florida. He was born in Live Oak, Florida, attended the Georgia School of Technology (1918-1919) and worked in New York for Schultze and Weaver from 1923 to 1929, when he moved to Miami Beach. He is credited with designing The Temple House (1933) in the South Beach section of Miami Beach as well as other Art Deco hotels and residences. Dixon is listed as a Great Floridian.

Dixon work includes The Tides Hotel (1936), The Victor Hotel (Miami) (1937), The Tiffany (1939), The Marlin (1939), Tudor Hotel (1939), The Senator (hotel) (1939), The Raleigh Hotel (1940), the Ritz Plaza Hotel (1940), Regent Hotel (1941) and The Betsy Ross (1942). His work is known for its curvilinear design.

The PBS show American Experience called Dixon and Henry Hohauser the principal architects of Deco South Beach including "streamlined curves, jutting towers, window "eyebrows," and neon." Such buildings were less expensive and less ornamented than those by Carl Fisher, such as the Flamingo and "seemed perfectly suited to a city created for sun, sand, and relaxation."

2nd pair
Bought these locally for my grand-daughter. She wore them ALL the time and wore them out. She was so excited when I was able to find another pair on Amazon. She was begging me to sew them back together.

Defected Item
I bought two pair of these slippers, one for each of my children. One of the slippers on the smaller pair is defected, but alas we are past the return period. I just hate that we spent a good amount of money for what should be a quality product and it is defected. I hate for her to continue to wear them and possibly injure her foot due to the way the shoe leans.

Quality booties that don’t fall off
Size: 0-3 Months Infant, Color: Ivory Sherpa, Size: 0-3 Months Infant, Color: Ivory Sherpa
Love these booties - super cute, quality made, and they don’t fall off even when we’re passing the baby around. We put these on without socks; the booties are not lined with fleece but has a firm sole. I got the 0-3 months size for my 3 month old and there’s still a little bit of room to grow. Easy to put on baby’s wiggling feet and there are two snap buttons to select for fit. There’s really no grip on these so not sure how they hold up for walking. The fleece is plush and seems to keep baby’s feet warm.

In the winter/fall months these were our go to shoes for our daughter! They were comfortable for her and kept her feet warm. Easy to put on and take off and so cute!! We’ve washed them quite a few times and they hold up really well.
