Spinning 101Spinning class is back and better than ever! Get your spin on with this three part introduction to spinning on a modern wheel! You will learn all about wheel anatomy, tools of the trade, fibre types and prep, operating a spinning wheel, plying and balancing yarn, and basic project planning. No previous experience required, all supplies are included, AND all peeps will get to take the spinning wheel home between sessions to practice at home! Wheeee!

No previous experience required, all supplies are included, AND all peeps will get to take the spinning wheel home between sessions to practice at home! Wheeee!
Some important notes:
- Please wear your prettiest socks as you will be taking your shoes off!
- A valid credit card or refundable deposit is required to take the wheel home between sessions.
This class has some physical elements: This class requires some dexterity, as you will be learning how to treadle a spinning wheel using one foot while using your hands to draft fibre. There is some lifting required to take the wheel home with you. We will be using the Louet S17 single treadle wheel. This approximately weighs 11 lbs. Class Cancellation Policy:
If you cannot make your class, you must give STASH at least 1 week (7 days) notice in order to receive a refund for the booking. We are also happy to reschedule you to a new date and time if the schedule allows.
Cancellations between 6 days - 72 hours prior to the scheduled class, club, or event are eligible for a move to a future date, or receive a store credit.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class, club, or event are not eligible for a refund or credit.
The first 10 minutes of class are super, duper important! For this reason, we ask that you arrive on time (aim for about 5 minutes early.) If you are more than 10 minute late, you will not be able to join the class.
If you are sick and unable to attend, STASH will work with you to reschedule your participation. Please do not come to class sick.
