Design Crime cases are meant to encourage better design and more ecological results, along with his attempt to fill the void of the total lack of humor in IDSA's journal. Recently, his friend, Marshall Johnson suggested to BuddÕs son Carl that the Design Crimes printed in issues of INNOVATION magazine from 1989-2015 are archived at The Hagley Museum and Library in Wilmington, Delaware. Carl dug into the archives and assembled this honest and humorous commentary that is enhanced with BuddÕs unique illustrations. BuddÕs godson and ReadÕs son, Tucker Viemeister helped get this together (BuddÕs daughter, Julie corrected the English!).
