Every high school kid should read The Faerie Queene, and preferably in this Canon edition, which combines helpful definitions with updated spelling and helpful, enjoyable footnotes.

Look Inside the Book

Edmund Spenser (1552-99) ranks just below Shakespeare, with Chaucer and Milton, in the pantheon of great writers. In The Faerie Queene, he spins a sub-created fantasy universe that would be the model for Tolkien and Lewis. This poet, whom Milton considered to be a better teacher than the medieval theologians, wrote an epic tale of adventure, love, noble deeds, and faith.

Despite all his acknowledged greatness, almost no one reads Spenser anymore. Roy Maynard takes the first book of The Faerie Queene, exploring the concept of Holiness with the character of the Redcross Knight, and makes Spenser accessible again. He does this not by dumbing it down, but by deftly modernizing the spelling, and including notes in the margins explaining the obscurities in clever asides, and cuing the reader towards the right response.

"It is best to have made one's first acquaintance with Spenser in a very large edition of The Faerie Queene, on a wet day, between the ages of twelve and sixteen... To read him is to grow in mental health." -C.S. Lewis

In today's cultural, aesthetic, and educational wars, Spenser is a mighty ally for the 21st century Christians. Maynard proves himself a worthy mediator between Spenser's time and ours." -Dr. Gene Edward Veith, Fellow at Patrick Henry College

"Now that I have found the Canon Press series, I will not use any other edition of Spenser's The Faerie Queene. Engaging (and often hilarious) footnotes, helpful definitions of archaic language, enlightening end-of-chapter questions, a delightful re-telling in the Appendix, and a classy printing all contribute to the readability and accessibility of this edition. Toby J. Sumpter provides more than just an excellent annotation and edition of an important but often inaccessible text. He serves as a merry travel guide for our middle and high schoolers who would rather be found catching snakes than reading books."  ~ Rosaria Butterfield, author of The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert, in praise of The Elfin Knight: Book 2 of the Faerie Queene

I'd give 10 stars if I could
Holy cow! This is it! For YEARS I've been looking for a product that would align the bezels on my monitors. I found this product by scrolling through reels and then found the link to Amazon. The price was steep and I was hesitant, but I took the gamble and I'm so glad I did. Installation is slightly confusing, and you really want to know how this works before you adhere it to any surface. I'll break it down for you: Align your monitors flat next to each other. Attach one side with the adhesive, then snap the other side on with the magnet. Peel that adhesive strip and lay it on your second monitor so that they are even. Repeat for the bottom. Twist the U shape up for the left, down for the right. Adjust your angle and then lock them by putting the U shape back to how it was. That's it. The stability on these simple magnets is excellent. I went from a wobbly mount to locked in and only moving when I want it to. I'm so happy this product exists. That's German engineering for you. 💪💪

Works well...but the price!
I ordered two sets to connect 3 monitors together for a workstation at my job. These are well designed and the magnets are pretty strong. Installation is easy and it holds the alignment well. The only issue is the price. For what it is, the price is quite high. The value proposition would be much higher for those who need to be able to not have them aligned from time to time, such as rotating one around for others to see in an office. But if don't need to do this and just want alignment, there are much cheaper options. If you want to go the cheapest DIY route and it won't be seen, some popsicle sticks with two sided tape works well. You can crack them in the middle to act as a hinge.

Awesome product only thing that worked
I originally thought the Screen Buddy was overpriced, but after spending hundreds of dollars trying to perfectly align my monitors for sim racing, this is genuinely the only thing that has actually worked properly. Triple monitor alignment is one of the most frustrating parts of building a sim rig, especially with monitor arms constantly moving or sagging. This finally made everything line up the way I wanted. Expensive? Maybe. Worth it after all the headaches? Absolutely. Great job.

Doesn't stick
The adhesive tape kept coming off. I cleaned and followed the installation instructions, but it still kept coming off. Wouldn't recommend.
