Aged in a combination of new charred oak, ex-bourbon, ex-rye, and ex-Port casks, High Country is a blend of single malts aged from 2 to 9 years and has a cask strength of 88 proof. With its aroma of vanilla-malt, wood, caramel, and notes of juicy apricot and banana, High Country tantalizes the nose. On the palate, it reveals layers of hay, sweet banana, malt, nutmeg, aged oak, and a hint of spice, rounded off by a delightful marshmallow spread finish.
