Debra Fileta’s background as a licensed professional counselor and Christian shines bright as she combines biblical examples from Jesus's life with informed psychology and resources to help the reader avoid burnout and live joyfully. Soul Care will help you examine what areas of your life require attention and set a path for what you can do next. The book provides resources and ideas and is an excellent study tool.
As a small business owner for over 22 years, my pace has impacted my decisions for decades. One topic covered in Soul Care is the need to slow down. I relate very much to the need to pace myself and find rhythms of rest.
If you are willing to go deep and ask yourself some real, honest questions, this book is for you. In our fast-paced, always-on, instant world, this book offers an opportunity to find balance, peace, and restoration, leading to better relationships, decision-making, and outcomes.
