I have trouble finding good chew toys for my dog becs there is a problem with everything. Rawhide is dangerous, bully sticks can cause infections, etc. I devised a system where I mix my dog's regular dry food with water, run it through the blender, and freeze it. I have a few bone molds where you can take the ice out fully, which work much better. I thought this would be good for him to lick. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, so he's not exactly a rough and tumble kind of dog. I noticed little red flakes in his poop, so this went in the trash.
