Modern Architecture and the LifeworldThe evolution of modern architecture has been inextricably entangled in issues of politics, nationalism, and the environment, creating a tension between local context and global development that is unresolved to this day. The evolution of modern architecture has been inextricably entangled in issues of politics, nationalism, and the environment, creating a tension between local context and global development that is unresolved to this day. In this context, few writers have exerted as much influence on architectural theory and practice as Kenneth Frampton. In this illustrated volume, twenty-nine contributors from around the world amplify and pay tribute to his writing and thought. Intended for all those concerned with the built environment, this book offers further evidence of how this scholar, humanist, and teacher has shaped our understanding of the working reality of the architect. The premise of Modern Architecture and the Lifeworld is rooted in Frampton's understanding of how architecture must engage with both cultural and constructional imperatives; and it addresses strategies for grappling with contemporary concerns such as regional identity amidst urban globalization, and tectonic culture and landform in the construction of place.

Good idea great product
Color: Gloss Black
I bought this as a gift. The person loves it. It’s very compact. She puts it in her bag and travels with it. It’s easy because you can charge it at home and then it’s already. She sometimes brings her charger with her so she can use it out.

Works great.
Color: Gloss Black
We preferred this model because the button is on top of the unit, making it easier to use. And we do use it often. The battery lasts for a reasonable amount of time too, and charges quickly on USB.

Great Product - Stop Wasting Batteries!
Color: Gloss Black
Super happy with this purchase and so glad it's rechargeable. So much better than the fancy brand we had that went through batteries like crazy and had a wobbly shaft. Lots of power and can be easily used for travel as we do for blending protein powder and cream into coffee. It's already traveled to Europe twice, Tahiti, Australia and a Panama cruise and still working like the day we got it. We're very pleased with the quality and the price.

Frothing like a barista!
Color: Gloss Black
Works great! It took some practice to produce froth without the coffee splattering! But, once I got the hang of it, the results were amazing!

Best frother ever!
Color: Flat Black
Super easy to use! Love the 3 speed mode. Makes my morning coffee a breeze to make. Also love the fact that it’s rechargeable. So far only charged once and it’s long lasting. Favor part about it is the storage, doesn’t need to stand straight and be out. Can be easily cleaned and stored away with the cover. Feels very high quality. Highly recommend!
