Before birthing his blasted acid house identity, Bobby Draino drummed for various synth-punked groups around Vancouver, and some of that scorched-earth live energy bleeds through the five primordial bangers comprising his vinyl debut Brain Drain. Tracked live through one channel of a space echo straight to his computer, Draino's overdriven drum machines, fried acid grit, bass damage and blown-tone sequencer patterns are fused into a radical and weird debased mutant house. The EP's five tracks are the culmination of two years of demo work shopping, TR-606 and 303 autodidacticism and warehouse party spelunk-all savvy tactics for developing a shredding, progressively singular style, which Draino has in spades. Brain Drain is one of the most awesomely wrecked and raw Silk slabs to date from a West Coast wiz worth watching.

Beautiful & Touching story

From the haunted house to the loving relationships, this book is a must read. It is a great conversation opener for this topic, and is introduced very effectively. A must read for parents and kids alike.

Fast-paced and fun
Format: Kindle
Kiyoshi Harai is 16 and a recent graduate of the exorcist academy. He’s insanely powerful, but the problem is, he’s terrified of demons, thanks to a childhood trauma. He also has social anxiety, which only shows on the inside. On the outside, he looks cool and glowering.
The first volume follows Kiyoshi from his first assignment to his first exorcism post in the boons, which he chooses because of his hero who works there. He gets over his fear of demons pretty fast, thanks to a fatherly demon he needs to banish who gives him encouragement. At his post, he enrolls to a high school and gets to work on his other anxieties.
This was a fun and fast-paced start to a series. Many demons were banished, but the line between good and bad people was blurry, and Kiyoshi made some unlikely friends too. Art was good. I’d read more.
