The Vessel Carbon is a refillable butane lighter built around an inverted design with an angled flame port. That combination lets it produce a usable flame at angles a standard upright lighter can't hold, which matters when you're lighting at an angle or working around a bowl edge. The adjustable flame runs at a low candle-style temperature, giving you more control over heat output than a fixed-flame lighter.
At 4.3" long, 1.8" wide, and just 0.5" deep, it's a slim, flat form factor that sits flat in a drawer or on a tray without taking up much surface area. It weighs 81g, which is solid without being heavy. The high-precision trigger mechanism keeps ignition consistent, and because it's refillable, you're reloading butane rather than replacing the whole unit. Use premium high-performance butane to keep the mechanism performing as intended.
This lighter was developed in partnership with Dissim under a patent-pending design, so the inverted flame system isn't a standard lighter mod. It's purpose-built for this form factor.
