Duke Ellington had never previously recorded any of the tunes from Piano in the Foreground (and would never record them again), with the exception of 'Yearning for Love', which he had recorded with his orchestra on July 17, 1936, Gershwin's 'Summertime', of which various versions with his orchestra exist since 1943 and 'I Can't Get Started', which Duke included in his big band performances as early as 1946. Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly.
Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration.
Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.

Stacking shelves
These work perfectly, even in rooms with high ceilings. One thing I didn’t really see mentioned or highlighted anywhere is that they can be stacked. I decided to try it anyway, and it turned out awesome. I purchased two units and placed one on top of the other, which essentially created one tall shelf. It ended up being a great way to maximize vertical space and made the setup look much more custom and intentional

Do not hesitate!
I was hesitant with some reviews saying it comes with scratches. This was packaged extremely well and it only had one or two very minimal scratches that you barely can even see. It is very sturdy and took about 40 minutes to build. It looks amazing and is not bulky but holds a lot which I love. After building this one, I immediately ordered a second one to go on the other side of my window. My son walks in and saw this bookcase and now wants one for his room, so I will be definitely ordering more.
