Since the introduction of the common rail fuel system in 2003, all Dodge 5.9L/6.7L Cummins Rams were equipped with a reliable Bosch CP3 high pressure fuel pump. Then in 2019, Cummins made major changes and switched to a Bosch CP4.2 pump which has seen its share of problems in the GM and Ford Applications. Due to the CP4s lower volume output, Cummins had to increase the drive ratio of the pump and turn it faster to keep up with fuel demand! The CP4 is also susceptible to catastrophic failure. When disaster strikes, the entire fuel system requires replacement after metal debris from the failed pump spreads throughout. Cleaning the tank, replacing lines and injectors, and, of course a new pump can end up costing you in excess of $10,000 in repairs! Prevent a costly failure, increase power and add durability by backdating your Cummins to a CP3 with a conversion kit from BD Diesel. This kit comes with everything you need for install, and does not require tuning! It is worth purchasing a Protection Plan on an unfamiliar item
Bought a 3-year protection plan for a nut milk maker machine for $5.99. It was a fairly new kitchen item in our household and we were not familiar with the brand. So, I bought the plan for a piece (peace) of mind. The machine worked nicely for about 18-20 months with daily use until it tripped the circuit outlet.
My initial chat with Asurion did not go as I expected due to discrepancy on their end as they see a protection plan for the nut milk maker as a sporting goods valued between $100-$199, not as a kitchen item valued between $30-$39.99. ( I had bought 3 different protection plan on th same day for multiple items purchased on Prime Days). They were looking at a different plan and I was unable to get them to "scroll over" to the appropriate protection plan.
I tried again on a different day during the first hour of their contact hours and had a cheerful Asurion agent who was able to find the appropriate kitchen item protection plan. It was a simple and thorough conversation and transaction. I was refunded within hours after I packed up and dropped off the damaged item out to UPS.
Moral of the story: Asurion Protection Plan is worth it and contact them at the start of their first day shift, not at the end of their evening shift.

No hassle refund
So glad I bought the plan. After 2.5 years of everyday use of my toaster, it quit working. Contacted Asurion, they emailed a shipping label. A few hours after I dropped the package off at UPS, I had the refund in my Amazon account. Very easy, no hassles.

Very bad
This guys are just an eye wash, they do not cover anything but will charge you. I bought Hand Blender and it broke in couple of months and I took 3 year protection from Asurion. When I contacted them about the issue, they said it is not started, go to manufacturer. I reached out to Amazon and they replaced it for me. Now again it broke. I reached out to asurion again. Now they say it is not contract. what is the point of having protection. Waste of time and money. I will not recommend this to anyone. This is a fraud protection.
